Having enjoyed seven years of success with the Niello Concours at Serrano, The Niello Company will join forces on Saturday, April 28, with Premier Concours Promotions, the producers of the Serrano event, to take the show on the road to benefit the 2012 March of Dimes, March for Babies walk.

This inaugural Concours d'Elegance will take place at the State Capitol in Downtown Sacramento where the Niello Concours at the Capitol will bring together motor cars, auto enthusiasts, walk participants and the interested public for a truly worthwhile event. There is no ticket necessary to attend as a spectator as this is an "open to the public" event. The Niello Company along with Premier Concours Promotions, are proud to participate in the March for Babies walk event which is the longest-running and most widely recognized walking event in the nation, generating more than $1.5 billion for the March of Dimes over its 41-year history. This fundraiser incorporates thousands of volunteers participating in a fun-filled day of walking to raise money to support lifesaving research and programs to make sure every baby gets a chance for a healthy start in life.

If you are interested in participating in this grand automobile display at the California State Capitol as an entrant, while supporting a truly worthwhile cause, please send in your entry form soon!

As plans are finalized we will send you an entry form which we will process and will respond to you in a timely manner as to your status of acceptance. Space will be extremely limited; you will not want to miss this inaugural event! The motor car display will be located on 10th Street between L & N Streets as well as Memorial Circle around the Capitol Fountain. The display will be at this location in the morning and early afternoon and then will roll into into Pavilions later in the day for a late lunch at Piatti's, creating a great day for a great cause. A reminder: the VIII Annual Niello Concours at Serrano will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2011.

A fun twist for a worthwhile charity...

Although we will have several awards in which entrants will be eligible to win at this event. Best of Show will be awarded to the entrant who is able to raise the most money for March of Dimes.

A few guidelines...
1. Each dollar raised counts as one point; the entrant with the most points wins Best of Show.
2. You may begin your campaign for your car at any time, as long as we have all of your donations by noon on event day. You may solicit donations at the event itself as well; March of dimes volunteers will be on hand to accept cash, check or credit cards.
3. March of Dimes will set up a donations page which you can utilize by sending the "link to donate" to all of your friends, family and colleagues where so they can donate directly. Upon acceptance of your entry this link, with set-up instructions, will be sent to you.
4. All donations are tax deductable as The March of Dimes is a non-profit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3).

Let's make this a fun competition, where the real winner will be a great charity! Money raised through March for Babies enables the March of Dimes to continue its ongoing investment in lifesaving research and programs so that every parent will know the joy of a healthy newborn.
